Golden Pendant 2011 – Nominations Announced

September 19th, 2011

21 horses have been nominated for the Group 3 Golden Pendant at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday September 24, 2011.

The 2011 Golden Pendant, which was previously known as the Research Stakes, will be run over a distance of 1,200 metres and is worth $250,000 in prize money.

Open to fillies and mares aged three-year-old and upwards only, the 2011 Golden Pendant will be run under quality set-weight plus penalty conditions.

Included in the Golden Pendant 2011 nominations is David Pfieffer’s Graceful Anna, who will be second-up after finishing ninth in the Listed Blackwoods Sheraco Stakes on September 10, 2011.

Graceful Anna will be looking to boost her horse racing form to win her first race in 16 months in the 2011 Golden Pendant after finishing second in three of her six autumn starts.

Dorf Command, Hurtle Myrtle, Miss Gai Flyer and Osequious are also included in the 2011 Golden Pendant nominations.
